CREATIVE AWAKENING

Clear the clutter. Discover who you are.

Your space is working against you.

Maybe it's the room you can't walk into. A space that doesn't reflect who you are today. Unfinished projects. Boxes filled with who you used to be. Decisions about what's next, still waiting.

I help you clear what's in the way.

Where This Came From

I've always been able to fit in. I've never quite learned how to belong.

That changed thirty years ago, the day I walked into the Helms Bakery in Culver City. It was my introduction to 5Rhythms.

I walked into a room of people dancing alone, yet together. Curious, I joined in. By the end of class, I was skipping around the room. I hadn't felt that free in years. It didn't matter how I looked or what anyone thought. Everyone in that room was dancing their own dance, and I was too.

Fast forward years later. I was coming out of dance on a Sunday afternoon and stopped in the alley outside, talking with one of my fellow dancers. She asked about my life. I told her I was a little lost. "I can help you," she said. That's how I was introduced to Human Design — assistance for understanding how you're uniquely wired. My life changed forever.

Then COVID hit. We moved to Highland Park, and that's when my addiction to moving furniture kicked in. Didn't matter if it was four in the morning or ten o'clock on a Sunday night. It became almost a game: how many different ways could I use the same pieces of furniture? Maybe more importantly, it became a lesson in shifting energy and shifting perspective.

Not long after, I helped move my parents from Michigan to Florida — downsizing a whole life, boxes filled with memories. It was a lot of work, but I discovered I was good at it, and I had fun doing it too.

When I got back to Chicago, I was chatting with a friend who'd just started an organizing business. I told her if she ever needed help, to think of me. That's where the organizing thing officially began.

No two people's chaos comes from the same place, and no two spaces need the same solution. Some people need everything visible. Some need everything hidden. Some think in piles, some in files. I was never trying to standardize anyone — I was learning to see what already fit each person, the way Human Design had taught me every person's wiring is different.

What I discovered was that the real passion wasn't the organizing itself. It was what was happening underneath it. Holding space for reflection, for tears, for whatever needed to come up along the way. Seeing something in someone that they couldn't yet see in themselves. Using my own creativity to help people see what was already there, all along, in a way they hadn't before.

Three doorways to the same room. Dance. Human Design. Organizing. All of it leads to one thing — unlocking your unique expression. Giving you permission to be who you are.

What I Believe

Creativity isn't just about making art. To me, creativity is about unique expression. The word gets small when we only give it to painters and poets. It's how you arrange your desk. It's how you build a spreadsheet — justified left, the exact right font color, the kind of detail I can get lost in for hours. It's how you speak to your kids. How you solve problems no one else has your angle on. It's what's underneath every choice that isn't copied from somewhere else.

Awakening is when that energy gets loud enough to hear over the noise. When you stop performing who you think you should be and start inhabiting the truth of who you are. It doesn't happen through force. It happens through clearing, through paying attention, through awareness — that's what we find under the clutter.

That's Creative Awakening. Releasing what weighs you down — in your body, your mind, your environment — so you're finally free to be who you are.

Who This Is For

The person who calls me is overwhelmed by their environment. So overwhelmed, they don't know where to start.

Maybe they're in transition — a divorce, a move — not just facing the physical mess, but the emotional weight of letting go.

You can't see your way through it alone. I see what you can't.

How We Work Together

The call. Fifteen minutes, free. I hear what you're dealing with. We see if it's a fit.

The session. You take me on a tour of your space. We talk — your needs, your vision, your dreams. Then I share ideas and suggestions for how the space could actually work for you. From there, we get to work. I start the sorting, moving things into place. Then we edit together: what stays, what's donated, what goes. Whatever's leaving, leaves with me — nothing creeps back in.

The shift. You see it. You feel it. The change happens right away — in the space, and in you.
